1. The new highway to the central pacific is a reality, lots of work has been completed to date.
2. Even with the financial crisis in the US, the real estate projects in CR are continuing.
3. China´s president will visit Costa Rica on November 17 and both countries will sign bi-lateral trade agreements.
4. In December the construction of the new $73 million stadium is going to begin in San Jose.
5. New immigration law is currently being constructed which will require immigrants applying for Costa Rican citizenship and permanent residence to have a higher monthly income than previously required.
6. The CAFTA (Central American Free Trade Agreement) will more than likely be approved in the next couple of weeks by the Costa Rican congress.

Sonidos Del Mar project specific updates

1. About 71%  of the infrastructure construction is complete to date.
2. The curbing is mostly completed on main boulevard.
3. The stone base on all roads within SDM is complete.
4. All underground infrastructure is projected to be completed in December, paving will start in January 2009.
5. Once roads, water and electricity is available at all lots within Sonidos Del Mar, we will be going to settlement on all lot reservations soon after per the reservation contracts. 6. From September 27th-October 19th  ,   22 work days were canceled because of rain at Sonidos Del Mar in which no work was completed,  which makes a total of 57 work days canceled since June.
7. The rainy season is coming to an end with sunshine on its way.
