The Foreign Trade Promoter (PROCOMER in Spanish) is opening
offices in New York, Los
Angeles and Houston to strengthen
its presence in the United
States, the leading market for Costa Rican
products. The new offices join one already operating in Miami. The overall goal of the expansion in
the U.S. is taking advantage
of the U.S., Central America and the Dominican Republic Free Trade
Agreement (CAFTA).
