Costa Rica, vacation and warm-climate real estate destinations are featured here. We will post information regarding Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua, Belize, Roatan, Caribbean, Bahamas, etc. My primary focus is Costa Rica but I'm open to working with others to post here as well.
The affordability of purchasing in Costa Rica, Belize, Panama and elsewhere is becoming more popular throughout the world.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) considers that the output of
Costa Rica will grow a little more this year than what the Central Bank
had forecast. It also believes that inflation will be a little less
than expected. In the World Economic Outlook recently published, the
IMF expects a growth of the Gross Domestic Product of 4 percent in the
year 2008, more than the 3.3 percent estimated by the Central Bank.
Costa Rican growth is very close to the 3.9 percent expected for the
world this year. Last year it was 5 percent. Regarding inflation, the
Fund foresees 13 percent as the figure for 2008. According to the
Central Bank, it will be 14.2 percent. This year’s first three
quarters, inflation reached 11.83 percent. For next year, both the Fund
and the Bank agree that inflation will be 9 percent.
